The Authors

Dr. Medeiros is Dean of the Graduate School and Vice Provost for Faculty Affairs at the University of Missouri in Kansas City. Most recently, he was a Full Professor, Department Head of Human Nutrition, and Associate Dean for Scholarship and Research at Kansas State University. He has been on the faculties of Mississippi State University, The University of Wyoming, and The Ohio State University. He has also spent time as a visiting faculty member at The Medical University of South Carolina in Charleston, South Carolina and Washington University School of Medicine in St. Louis, Missouri.  He has taught classes both at the introductory and advanced levels for undergraduate students and has taught graduate level courses throughout his career. Dr. Medeiros has received outstanding teaching awards for his efforts.

Robert Wildman received a PhD in Human Nutrition from The Ohio State University in 1994, MS in Foods and Nutrition from The Florida State University in 1991 and a BS in Dietetics and Nutrition from the University of Pittsburgh in 1988. He has been on the faculty at Ohio University, University of Delaware, University of Louisiana-Lafayette and is currently at Texas State University in San Marcos, Texas. Dr Wildman is a Fellow of the International Society of Sports Nutrition (ISSN) and is faculty at Texas State University.

BUYER BEWARE!!! The text is exactly what I wanted and needed, HOWEVER, the description says that it is TEXT TO SPEECH ENABLED and even after returning and repurchasing with assistance from – it is ONLY an ebook.

I need the TTS (read to me) feature because of my schedule and circumstances. Yes, I am using another app, but it is less efficient and has limitations. I am now debating about spending additional money to buy a TTS enabled version elsewhere or pay even more for the physical text and push out my schedule :/

AMAZON, I am not happy – Fix the description or the product!

Thorough book, but all graphics (e.g. tables, diagrams, illustrations) are so pixelated when you zoom in that they are worthless.
