Swoony small town romcom!

Six years ago, Rob shattered Laura’s heart on the day she needed him the most and left their small town. After Rob returned to Bordeaux two years ago, Laura has worked hard to build up her walls and avoid Rob at all costs despite sharing the same friend group. Now Rob is more determined than ever to break down Laura’s walls and battle for the love he truly never let go of. And battle he did!
This is just an ooey gooey story of swoony, sweet goodness! Rob and Laura were such a treat and I was hooked from the prologue. These two are complete opposites, but their chemistry was evident from the get-go even though that comes to a screeching halt. However, Rob pulls out all the stops to show he’s invested in creating a life with Laura. Surprising her with her favorite food and snacks, foot massages and saving her in the rain to name a few. They shared so many tender, unforgettable moments and I was rooting for them all the way!
I also really enjoyed other elements of this book such as the strong female friendships and the tight knit, small town community coming together to help each other. There’s a lot of forgiveness and letting go of resentment that added a beautiful depth to this story. Also, goat shenanigans and that’s all I will say about that because it’s hilarious! Swoony kisses, witty banter, and a crazy cast of secondary characters are the cherry on top of this sweet romcom!
amazing swoons novel

This book is freaking fuzzy. I enjoyed this book. It is just amazing. I really enjoyed Rob and Laura. The two characters couldn’t be more opposites. However, together, they are just amazing.
Rob is a complete science nerd. I love nerdy heroes. However, when they are amazing people, I just swoon. What I enjoyed about Rob is that he made immature decisions at a young age, however, he does everything and very respectfully to change Laura’s mind and win her back. He is super supportive.
Laura is awesome. She knows she wants to be with Rob, but wants to make sure he is completely in. This is something I appreciate. Most often, in second chance romances, the heroine takes the hero back immediately. Here, Laura is hesitant. But, when she finally lowers her walls its awesome. Her connection to being a hair stylist is awesome.
The romance OMG is amazing. I was up all night reading this book. I was just swooning. The massages, the rain scene, the kisses are so cute. I just enjoyed the pacing. It was realistic and so sweet. I loved everything. I also enjoyed seeing Lexi and Trevor. It was nice seeing them happy.
Overall, this book is just so good. I can keep on writing more about it. But, I will shut up. You should go and check this book out immediately!
