look authentic. This book has pretty pictures for a less experienced painter, or an advanced child. The paper has no “tooth” so colored pencils, even wax based pencils, don’t lay color properly. Poor value for the price, for sure.

Ray ” I purchased this based on a previous video review I saw, but the version I received was different. The simple thin black frames have been removed and the back of pages is now printed dark gray (which I found dulled out the piece on the other side, though I assume it was done in order to prevent the drawings being visible through the light paper.
I would rate this an overall 3.5/5, just know what you are getting. For my intended use this ended up being a 2/5. This coloring book is purposable for just relaxing and children, but not a high enough quality I would hang it on my wall like I’d wanted. The line quality is a bit too low resolution, the paper too light. I would definitely not recommend any wet mediums. I would compare it to slightly lighter paper than typical sketch paper with a slightly inconsistent grit.
Just because it doesn’t suit my purposes doesn’t make it a poor product, for coloring alone it is perfectly fine. I may even trace some of the designs onto better paper for coloring. A good portion of the drawings (linework aside) are actually quite lovely.
I’ve attached a video with various mediums on the paper of this sketchbook, a piece of strathmore sketch paper, a page of watercolor paper, and another coloring book I ordered at the same time which was a better fit for what I thought I was ordering. The ‘realistic’ subject matter of the book is probably going to attract people looking to use more heavy-duty mediums.
To the seller I would recommend uploading more images and videos to ensure buyers know what they getting, and as another review mentioned please don’t watermark the smaller (but higher resolution!) images!!! Don’t bother printing the backs of the pages- use the money on better paper or higher resolution prints instead. I would have preferred a slightly smaller book at a higher resolution. A tiny coloring book made of all those 1/4 shrunken down designs would actually have been really neat!”
This book is for a child, no adult would find it interesting or the least big challenging.
The flowers are very large so you are forced to use crayons and adult prefer brush markers
or even colored pencils.

2 pages with reduced size copies of the full-size pages had big gray lettering passing through each line drawing. I paid $10 for this. coloring book. Shame on you. I was not going to copy them and sell them. I just wanted to look and enjoy each small drawing.”
