This was ok. It was a little outdated for some treatments and some of the answers were wrong without a place I could find to check for errata to correct. But it was a fast and easy read and is a nice little book to blow through in a couple of days is you need a break from UWORLD.

It’s a great little book. It’s a bit small, but the questions are helpful with very good explantations and photos. It has been a while since I looked at the book, but I remember that it seemed like a good deal, and I was glad that I bought it.

Since I bought the WCC last year I’ve thought it has the potential to become the go-to book for Step 2 as FA is for Step 1. The changes/improvements in the 2022 edition I think are a step in the right direction.

Some of the notable changes this year include (see my images to see some of these changes):
-the resizing of the book into a standard textbook size
-the book is now in color and has images for select topics
-there now is an index at the back of the book
-the page numbering system is continuous throughout the book, unlike in previous editions where it was a chapter numbering system

I’m happy with the changes made in this book and it shows that the authors are willing to listen to the feedback given by purchasers. My only knock on the book is that it came with a damaged corner in an undamaged package.
