WOW – book 2 is every bit as good as book 1

This author sure does know how to capture your attention with beautiful love stories. I loved Fractured Hearts, and now Fractured Dreams. This is one that will stay with me for some time. Tex and Eden shouldn’t work, and there are a few people (including themselves) who are beginning to believe it. But, no matter the 10 year age difference, these two found each other, lost each other, then found themselves back together for a wonderful HEA. I’m so looking forward to finding out if it will be Noah or Zac who appears in the next book. Confirmed bachelors, these four rock stars are (were) content living the single life, until they weren’t. Connor fell first, now Tex. My money is on Noah. So please, dear author, we’re waiting for book 3 to get here.

Fractured Dreams was my first time book by L.M. Dalgleish and it definitely wasn’t a 4 or 5 star for me. Reason being was, I felt everything in this book was so rushed and fast. Never really got that connection with the H and h that I like to get when reading a book. The relationship was just fast moving. One minute Tex see Eden as the little sister of his friend Noah to Eden being the person Tex wants to spend his life with. I kinda got that insta-love Vibe right from the start. So needless to say their wasn’t really any push or pull in this story or any development which to me made it boring.
Also Eden didn’t come across to me being this strong and independent woman like the author was trying to portray her. I actually thought she was on the pathetic side more. Especially when it came to Men. She really didn’t have much of a backbone.
Tex wasn’t anything to write home about either, he was your typical rockstar. I really didn’t care much for him. He talked a good talk about not wanting to hurt Eden, but it seem like every chance he got that’s exactly what he did.. making promises he couldn’t keep. Overall the story was just OK in my book.

Okay. I stopped right there where the below quote is. NO man talks like this. It is silly, teenage girl speak.
“……..he wanted that—the spark, the overwhelming passion… the love. It had always been something he’d wanted, and he didn’t have to be a psychologist to figure out it was probably connected to his mom leaving him and his dad when he was only six years old. That her departure from his life left him craving a relationship where someone loved you enough to never leave.”

Well done. I love ❤️ these stories, but only if they are like this one. A down to earth story, something real, that can actually happen. In this story you feel their love 💗 and can identify with it. I won’t lie, I can’t stand women who are so blatant with throwing themselves at a man. It might be a reality that women act like they are in heat, around men in power, but it still makes me ill. And this story touched but didn’t focus on it. Excellent 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻🎵🎼🎶

Overly long. Repetitive. Way way too many sex scenes which got boring after the tenth or twelfth one.
I loved Tex in book one, but he’s a hot mess here.
Still, since book one was so good and book three looks promising, you should probably read this one for continuity.

I love the Fractured crew!! Eden and Tex finally coming together is just beautiful! All the feels of poor choices and finally getting together is just Hot! Give it a read, you’ll fall in love with the band and their ladies too!!

Cute couple. Childhood friends now lovers. I didn’t like the bad past reasonings and the brother involvement, but hey why wouldn’t your childhood friend and girlfriend’s have an influential opinion. I liked Tex though.
