Great resource for content review!

Don’t listen to everyone else – You don’t need more than one book or online program to pass the NCLEX the first time in 75 questions. I strictly only used this book and the Kaplan question trainers and q banks. I bought it in May and started using it in June and passed in early July in 75. Great tool especially for those who feel like you test well, but need a content refresher. I started scoring way higher on my Kaplan qbanks after I started reading this. – only thing I’d recommend is the textbook can be overwhelming at first so definitely make a study schedule/plan at least 4 weeks in advance to when you think you’ll be testing. That should give you plenty of time to read a section or two a day and do at least one qbank to match with the section you read or do a test trainer. If you don’t do that, I promise you you won’t get the most out of your purchase.

This book arrived quickly and brand new! It was very helpful to have this book, as it is much easier to use than Kaplan’s E-Book! If you’re taking the Kaplan course, make sure to do most of the practice questions while using this book as a reference. Don’t waste too much time on content review in the early phases 🙂
