Just hot enough for four stars

There was just enough steam between Margot and Graham to qualify this story for four stars. I might have squeezed in a fifth star, because I did enjoy the depth of all the characters, but had to take points off for some poor grammar I just couldn’t ignore. Misuse of “whom” I can forgive. What I can’t overlook is when the character speaking or thinking uses “me and” so and so or “me and him”, “me and Eleanor and Graham”, etc. Margot is supposed to be well educated. Graham is presumably also well educated. Would they really speak as if they’d forgotten elementary school English?
Still a good read with some nice heat.

A steamy, billionaire, nanny, instant attraction, second chance, contemporary romance.

Margot was laid off from her teaching job due to funding issues and desperately needs another job to keep her apartment. She applies for a live-in nanny position, but does not hear back until she receives an urgent call from the father, Graham. Graham is puzzled as to why she was not already hired since Margot meets all the job requirements. Who makes things difficult for Margot and why? What does Margot guilt him into doing? Both Margot and Graham have their secrets/omissions. How does their revelation effect the budding relationship? What are “those three words”?

I received an ARC of this book from the author, and am voluntarily leaving my review.

Margot, the nanny, has been let go from her music teaching position because of budget cuts. They are attracted to each other, despite his assistant trying to get rid of Margot. HEA.

Graham is considerate, sensitive and freaky. Margot is easygoing and strong, when she needs to be. This book has the right balance of character development and passion. Based on this book, I would read another book by this author.

I really enjoyed this book and getting to know all the characters. Margot and Graham found something in each other that they didn’t realize that they needed. Throw in little Eleanor and you have a captivating read.

A really good book. I loved both Graham and Margot and little Eleanor. Miss Perry gave the story some angst. Really a very good read and I will read all I can from this fine Author.
